Though I can see how Winick's kind of making a meta joke, and also approaching Jason as somebody who thinks a lot about the behavior or villains and superheroes. He's obsessed about it. Where as Daniel had him trying to be Batman and asking somebody to be his Robin was a way of showing he wanted to be part of the family. (It's just that it made it seem like he didn't realize "be my Robin" from Jason to Dick or Tim is an insult.
