I sounds an awful lot like he thinks people with no personal transporation and little in the way of savings chose to become stranded in a living nightmare. I remember being shocked and disgusted by the way the national media was portraying events, when I finally got access to reports from outside my area, almost a week after the storm. The local media, on the other hand, were amazing - WBRZ opened their offices up to news staff from New Orleans, and reporters from the Times-Picayune were posting to the website from their cell phones after their offices were destroyed.
