I love how the marvel citizen got all hysterical about the mutant baby triggering a town massacre and well its understand how people stupid. Instead of rioting and threatening mutants, they really should just put each town on stand watch and if they see a bunch of robed religious fanatics with weapons, then call on whatever hero or mutant group. but I guess that's asking too much from the average bigot citizen of the MU.

So not digging the art, especially that last preview page. Vacant, soul-dead expressions for the lose.

Also, plot-induced stupidity galore. Aren't X-types supposed to have, you know, trained against not getting taken out by groups of baddies? Not to mention that there's a speedster and a long-distance group teleporter with the ability to spew happy-dust in that crew, so there really shouldn't have been any mutants around to beat on about five seconds after things got hairy, or at least a lot fewer humans capable of throwing a punch. I'm starting to wonder if Pixie just likes the beat-downs.

Minor disappointment: Artists continue to forget Northstar's ears.

Big meh, won't bother picking it up.

Didn't mutant hysteria die downed already, I remember it did when it was peaked in the mid-80s in Dazzler outing and then the X-men sacifice in Dallas on live television got people thinking of the x-men as heroes and X-factor who revealed that they scam everyone got a ticket parade after saving New york from Apocalypse. It would be logical progression, I guess the legacy virus report by Trish Tribly got people scared again.

I guess it also has to do with the X-Men ways of doing things as the animated series put it with Gambit with Beast. "We seem to be more fighting for our lives than for mutant rights."

There were rare examples of the X-men doing the right thing and confronting racisim like in God loves, Man kills when they confronted Styker and ended up with him looking bad by try to shoot Kitty(ended beign save by a cop, one of the few good ones, wish Spidey had cop friends like that rather than the douchebags that framed him for making them look bad) or when Kitty, Illyana and Collossus confronted a mob in the first issue of Mutant Massacre who were about to jump on a injured Kurt.

Didn't mutant hysteria die downed already,

Multiple times. And every time, it gets reversed by Editorial Mandate or when the next creative team comes in.

It got old twenty years ago.

I do aplogize for the multiple posts. Yeah Marvel universe is occupied with idiots because the writers will it. In time, you figure people would get used to mutants and super power people. I would assume events like the Kang dynasty and blowing up the capital and people forgot about it. Compare to alien invasion like that, you figure destruction from super hero or mutants would be a small price to pay but I guess when things become a inconvience, people forget the good and always focus on the bad.

I'm sick of the anti-spidey attitude as well, I miss the Michellen, Stern, Dematteries, and Defalco when Spidey got along with the cops and there was a time JJJ got pissed off that people took his editorials and paper as a comedic jokes. it shows how a long way people come when viewing spiderman. The framing Spiderman thing is such bull, comon, he been framed so many times by experts that people actually believe he's a serial killer and not assume its one of his villians like Mysterio, Chameleon, Venom or a skrull.

This. I would love to see BlackBolt offer the superheros of earth thier own planet after War of Kings.

Even if only none of them take the offer at least we could get a what if.

Hey maybe in X-Men Forever things will actually get better.

I like how Beast is drawn here..He should have taken the time though to wipe the jelly from Pixie's face instead of just growling. Sticky sticky.
