It's times like these that I thank Ethan VanHook for reminding me what an idiot Barbara Gordon is, so stuff that this doesn't make me pissy.

As the most likely cause for such scenes being so upsetting is actually liking Barbara Gordon, I would strongly recommend reading the recent Oracle miniseries as a cure for liking Barbara Gordon.

It's a double-edged sword though, as liking Barbara Gordon will steer one clear of reading the recent Oracle mini-series.
