One Perfect Moment: Wonder Woman

Hi, everyone. This is my first post and probably my last. I'll likely be too lazy to do it again.
Bluefall has posted lots of great Wonder Woman moments, so I had some difficulty finding something I've never seen here before. Then I remembered the first complete JLA story I've ever read, Tower of Babel. The moment where Diana stops one of Ra's Al Ghul's men from releasing a virus was so perfect it made me a fan for life. I hope I did this right.

It Is Awesome.

It's always nice to see that superheroes other than Batman get a chance to show off attributes other than their powers.

In a way, the big three, in their social interactions, show off the three classical forms of greek debate;

Diana, as we saw, represents, Logos, or arguing via logic; she presents a sound and reasonable reason why that guy should not do what he's about to do, and she gets results by appealing to his sense of reason.

Superman represents Ethos, or arguing through morality; when he talks to villains (like Parasite in "welcome to the working week", which by the way someone should totally post as part of this perfect moment, especially the end where they give a verbal smackdown to the big bad, but I digress), he talks to them like human beings, he see's beyond their masks to the people they are underneath, and they respond to that.

Batman represents Pathos, or arguing through emotion, in that he uses emotion to subdue his foes (IE: he scares the ever loving shit out of them).

Sorry for rambling, this all sounded a lot cooler in my head.

Not rambling at all, just a very insightful point!

Then in your head, it must have been utterly awesome.

Interestingly enough, this makes Wonder Woman the Ego to Batman's Id and Superman's Superego.

A great moment, but I'm slightly distracted by the fact that Diana appears to be wearing eyeshadow.

Don't worry, I'm sure it's special Amazon eye-shadow used to intimidate enemies (:

Hmm, I dunno. I think Diana talking someone down from suicide should always be a touch more compassionate than this. This is a really cool scene, though.
