One Perfect Moment: Oracle
cutting it down to one? something must be wrong with me
maybe i'm just short on time

So, once the monthly started, a few running subplots started, including a shot of a number of camera monitors watching Oracle work. Issue six started with the reveal.

Heh.

Same issue has a Pentagon team sore at her using her databases who's been tracking her throughout the first arc finally zeroing in and striking at...Blockbuster's resident hacker.
That's our girl. :D

I read that as "Bat's O face" and got a little confused.

Come to think of it, does Mr. Stoic there even have one?

this kind of stuff kind of annoys me. Okay, you know who he is, you know what he's like. You don't like him doing those things then you should not associate with him. That's it. There's a certain point where it's on you.

Excellent point. I'm reminded of the scene in The Dark Knight where Lucius Fox, disgusted with Batman for spying on all of Gotham, tells him "That's it, I'm not helping you with tech stuff anymore." Regardless of how one feels about the "is it justified to violate the public's rights if it could stop them getting killed" dilemma, it's hard not to admire Lucius for standing by his principles and showing integrity.

I think she was teasing to say the least. She knows who he is, she knows what he likes so she likes to rattle him up a bit. If she had a real issue about it, I'm sure she'd bring this to his attention when she first discovered it.

Babs and Bruce are both so similar in their neuroses that it's hilarious. Neither of them are prepared to take what they dish out. It's a bit rich of Babs to be outraged at Bruce for an activity she hangs her whole career on. I wonder wther Dick is aware of the "Graysoncam" in his apartment.

I like to think that Dick does know about the Graysoncam, and arranges it so he towels off in front of it, changes in front of it, works out, etc, etc

Well Bruce does it because he's a jerk who doesn't trust anyone and insists they earn his Bat seal of approval.

Babs does it because she's genuinely concerned about her friends

Young lady, I should have you know that Mr. Pennysworth is above wearing "jeans" during his labors in Master Bruce's service!

These are part of a "uniform", consisting of the protective overalls normally worn by your NASCAR racing team pit crews, along with tools and necessary harness for whatever needs the Batman may have. These are carried in an attractive leather (finest Spanish leather, of course) workman's utility belt. All kept humble by a comfortable but dignifying English vest bearing the Pennyworth coat-of-arms.

"Jeans", indeed. Hyeh.

Oh, Alfred is just priceless there with that "Heh."

Yet again, Batstalking is love. Though I have to wonder how just watching her would be all that informative in letting him know she's "stable." But it is fitting that for Bruce:
"I worry about Barbara sometimes and I hope she's doing all right now." = "I had better spy on Barbara."

And for Babs:
"Bruce is spying on me. I should confront him and tell him to cut it out." = "Bruce is spying on me. I should let him continue until he decides to stop so that chastising him will have maximum impact and make him look like a fool."
