One Perfect Moment: Hobgoblin
I'm only posting this because it's just good business, and that mad one aka Norman Osborn got one already. So I one up him with three moments of Roddy.

Three moments that each just showcase a perfect moment of Hobby.

From Spider-Girl #98:

and of course later that issue:

Amazing Spider-Man #276 (how I never got to finish scanning you *sniffle*):

Very cool.

Were those Ladyhawks actually dead?

He crippled one, the other was vendictive searching for the Hobgoblin in the early issues of Amazing Spider-Girl. Alas, she never could get the justice she wanted against him.

Still the move does bite him in the ass in the same issue when one of the crime lords he's trying to allign with turns out to be the hawks' estranged father.

Yay, Hobby! He's always been one of my faves. Actually...I'd much rather have him around than Norman.

Also, it's The Rose! Poor, doomed Richard Fisk.

I've never been into Spider-Man, so while I know about Hobgoblin's backstory and all, I've never gotten a feel for his character.

Could someone explain to me what makes him tick, exactly? What sets him apart from other villains?

I really wish I saved my scans of Hobby Saga I posted on the original Scans Daily. But I deleted them all for reasons giving why the original was closed in the first place. If only I still had them you see why some (myself included) are big fans of him.

But the best way I can say it is. Hobby in it for the money and power. Vendetta's against heroes are like second or third on his to do list.
