They all have extraordinary things about them---being Robin or Spoiler is extraordinary in itself. But I think they were all written as ordinary kids as well as heroes. Dick's life in the circus, for instance, was unusual (though not unheard of) but he had the personality of a normal boy.
Tim's figuring out who B&R were, for instance, didn't really seem to abnormal to me. The night he went to the circus made an impression on him. (Maybe straining credulity for his memory to be that good, but within this universe it works and they explained it by being an emotional moment.) He sees Robin to "his" trick and makes the emotional connection. The rest was easy. And he still shows up as a regular 13-year-old with surprising information. There's a balance between him being ordinary and having a spark of specialness that draws him to Batman.
It's just, imo, very different from Damian who doesn't see himself as normal, has never been treated as such and mostly lives up to the hype.
