WEEK OF DOOM: Doom 2099 teaches the "masters" of the world a lesson.
Greetings True Believers! Here is another post in the honor of the Lion of Latveria! These scans are from Doom 2099 #30. Doom has conquered America and has called the heads of the Megacorps (the true powers that be in the future) to him. He will inform them that they live in a different world now.

Click to get a taste of Doom's new national policy. Enjoy!

I find the name of the room to be delightful.

Yikes, who wants Doom to handle the HMOs, Credit Card companies and bankers in this country?

The heads try to squirm out of it but Doom is not budging. He asks for their decision.

Very Doom and very to the point. Doom's style of government is, well, refreshing.

God I love this series! And this moment. Before this time these men where calm cool and collect schemers and manipulators of America. Nothing tore through them with fear. Them Doom took over America and did this. Just awesome.

And even more, the next issue shocked the hell out of me and no doubt Doom. You gonna post that?

Though pity you couldn't show the part with Stone and some who where in the actual room point to the dude whose not there (ghost looking dude in page five panel three) would live if they voted him. I loved Doom's response to that. "I have a guard right next to him. You vote for him. He dies." That so ruled also during this. This series ruled.

I remember now...Avatarr was a renegade alien. For the entire rest of the series, Doom keeps his skull on a desk and mocks it.

It's a pity - Doom's costume here is entirely fantastic, but brought down by those horrible '90s shoulderpads. Seriously, how is he supposed to turn his head?

Wow, and I thought the weasels running Washington the past few years were bad.

Awsome. The reason people like Doom isn't that he somehow has a heart under all that metal its that he's just so damn competent.

You've posted 8 pages here and the cover. Unless you can confirm that this was an oversized issue and over the standard 22 pages, you're going to need to lose some of the images to get down within the third-of-an-issue limits, I'm afraid.
