Well then let me just say that no one has ever managed to "debunk" Wertham's theory about Batman / Robin pedophilia either, just say that they "don't see it" and that all the creators involved insist that content was never intended in their work.
Actually, you just made my argument for me. Wertham saw something that the writers didn't intend, and the comics industry recognized that that was a serious phenomenon - that art has meaning beyond what the creator intends, due to the context it exists in and the audience that receives it - and that they needed to be aware of the fact and take steps to change the way they presented themselves if they didn't want people to see their art that way.
What, pray tell, informs your concept that Ms Takeda is "better suited" to drawing porn?
Simply that I have never seen a work of art of hers that is not sexually suggestive to me. The Heroes for Hentai cover is the most obvious example, but the most recent MS MARVEL issue backs it up. Throughout the story, Moonstone looks flirty, coy, submissive, and lacks presence or the appearance of strength; the facial work and expressions are very strong, but the action is weak and brief; the guys tend to look lecherous. Non-sequential art I've seen from her, like covers and sample images, tend even more strongly toward the sexually suggestive - the HfH and upcoming MS MARVEL covers, again, are excellent examples.
And isn't it my right to interpret things my way, despite your explanaition of your intentions?
Of course. When I click "post," I do it with a full understanding that my words may be misinterpreted or that I may not be expressing myself clearly, and a willingness to accept the consequences. However, this is a conversation, not broadcast media; this is not me putting a single item out there in the aether and letting the world react, this is two people attempting to exchange ideas. The power structure is different, the goals of the exchange are different, and the context of the information provided is different, as are therefore the consequences of miscommunication. Are we not both attempting to move toward a better understanding of each other's positions? That carries with it a very different set of expectations and behaviors than an artist creating a cover for a comic, and so I'm not sure of the relevance you intend by your comparison.
Who are you to say she has no place in mainstream superhero work?
A fan who may or may not spend money depending on whether I perceive the product presented to me to be worth it, and who has come to a place where fans congregate in order to socialize and exchange my opinions on whether things are worth my money with other fans. Just like everyone else here. Just as I am when I say that I find Morrison's recent work tiresome, or when I say that Nicola Scott is a perfect fit for SECRET SIX.
