I didn't think you were over the line, I'm pretty spirited in my debating style too, so I wasn't offended. So, while I'm happy to accept the apology in the spirit it was intended, I don't feel you did anything wrong.
On the other hand, is it possible for you to consider my point of view, and that you might have misinterpreted that cover? And if so, that the storm of criticism that you participated in may have unjustly killed a book that deserved better than that? That's what upsets me. Sure, H4H might have been on the borderline sales-wise, but it was still above cancellation levels, even if only barely. Had it not been for the bad buzz surrounding that cover, it might have survived. We'll never know for sure, of course, but we can be sure that the cover controversy was harmful and very probably fatal.
As a reader of the book yourself, I'm sure you don't have to be told that the book deserved better than that. And that losing one of the only female-majority books the big two put out did the cause of feminism in comics more harm than good. If nothing else, I hope we can agree on that much.
