We had Batman giving his little nonsensical "it's a contradiction to be willing to kill while seeking peace" speech, with her just taking it, not offering any arguments as to why he's wrong ("Gee, I guess Jim Gordon doesn't want peace, Bruce. He carries a gun and is willing to kill. Why don't you go tell him what a hypocrite he is?"). The reasons we're given for why she "goes wrong" are ludicrous. The Amazons took away her title for failing to spread peace, and that's why she's become unhinged? Since when did she ever care about that title, and since when did the Amazons care more about her mission than Diana herself?) And on a personal note, her ending up married to Superman, pregnant with his child, without ever getting a chance to defend "being willing to kill a bad guy, sometimes" just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It feels like she's learned how wrong she was, and accepted her place at Superman's side. That might be reading too much into it, I know, but that's how it feels to me.
