Clearly Joey and Terry Long had the same hairdresser.

Oh and is that a ghost I see playing the drums?

Yes, but Joey was so much more awesome (and I had a crush on him).

That scene always bugged me. Roy, who used to play drums in a band, is sitting right there. What, he's too good to jam with his old teammates? Yeesh.

I think it's a good rule to keep a modest profile when you're at the wedding of a girl you took out on her first date.

Of course, Roy never followed the rules. He might just have been too drunk.

Several thoughts on this (other than that the Powerpuff Girls are awesome):

It must be really hard to sing in Bubbles' voice.

Speaking of Bubbles' voice, it's equally hard to believe that the same person who did that also did Raven's voice on Teen Titans.

One wonders how Blossom and Buttercup can play guitar and bass respectively when they have no fingers.

The Powerpuff Girls are channelling The Monkees!

Random thoughts off...for now...

Yeah, in the episode where they switch bodies, Buttercup (In the professor's body) can't for the life of her figure out how to work the professor's hands to pick up the phone.

Hard to believe Omi (Xaolin Showdown), Raven, Batgirl, Ben Tennyson (Ben 10), Ember (Danny Phantom), Terrance (from Foster's Home for Imaginry Friends), Roger & Lila (from Life and Times of Juniper Lee), Azula (Avatar:TLAB), Vicki Vale (The Batman vs Dracula) and Huntress (from Batman: The Brave and the Bold) were all the same person.

Actually Huntress was voiced by the amazingly beautiful Kari Wahlgren, who also voiced Zatanna in Justice League Heroes, and also known for voicing Raine Sage, Tsuruya, Tayuya, Emma Frost, Saturn Girl, Witch Hunter Robin, and Amara, among many many others.

Well, there's a bit of a coloring problem, I think. But basically he's wearing a rented tuxedo and has taken off the jacket, revealing the details that must be kept hidden: the straps that adjust the waistcoat, the metal clasp at the back of the cummerbund.

Looking at the situation from a different angle, this was the moment, back in the 1980s, when I realized it was hopeless for anyone to try to match Dick Grayson. Gymnastics and detective work—okay, a guy could work on those, but to learn the guitar at the same time—impossible.

Plainly, the Mighty Muttonchops were the source of his sanity. With them he could face even zapping Raven on the cusp of Trigonhood and survive. Shear them, and Samson-like, Joey falls into a weepy hysterical violent mess.

You're all talking of Dick's amazing agility even when playing the guitar(no bassist? No drummer? I take it this is when people are filing out), but it's even harder, as Mal does here, to keep yammering on even when you're supposedly playing a damn trumpet. Stop talking about how sweet the stuff is, Mal, and play the damn thing.

And "move over, Basin Street"? In over twenty years I've never understood what that's supposed to mean, but coming from Dick here it sounds incredibly square.

It's a street in New Orleans, formerly noted for brothels and prostitution, but also commemorated in "Basin Street Blues", a famous piece of jazz music.

Heh. If Gar was really the whiz kid wedding host he's made out to be, he shoulda gotten that Beatles clone band Donna geeked out over in TTY1 to reunite for the wedding. (Dangit, I can't even remember their name. Need. Coffee.)

The Flips. And they were established back in the original Teen Titans series, so they would have been available to Wolfman and Pérez.

But I think it shows Gar's good taste that he decided not to go with a group that thinks of a motorcycle as a musical instrument.

Oh ... Dick/Joey (from this era) is such an OTP of mine.

Hmm. Showing people playing music in a comic book, though, is always going to look a bit silly. Without the sound they're just three people standing in silly poses, lol.
And yeah, Mal? Talking while playing the trumpet is a pretty damn amazing skill...
