Also, I feel like they felt like they could bring Jason back and only do whatever story Winnick wanted to do. Like, nobody was interested in writing Bruce, Dick or Alfred actually dealing with Jason back from the dead and the messy emotions that would entail for all of them, so they just kind of had him there once JW finished his one story. It was hard to believe he was really back to life it was so unbelievable the way they reacted.
This is what I thought of Didio was talking about killing Dick. He made noises about how it would reverberate throughout the DCU or some such, but I thought no, you'd do it the same way you did Jason. A couple of stories that you wanted to tell, but not feeling any responsibilty to really follow through realistically for all the emotional arcs. So it just winds up awful, as if nobody cared or nobody noticed.
