It annoys me that they took so much stuff that could have been good in theory and made it awful. Bruce's hologram testament? Could have been a great way to say goodbye to everybody and reconcile with Jason. A real tear jerker. Instead they have him go "You're crazy, get therapy!", as if that's seriously something you should tell a grieving family member you've lately had a hard time talking to anyway. Besides, I don't think Jason jumping off the next best high place is an in-character reaction, either. It annoys me that writers nowadays always seem to go for the big dramatic gesture, when a quiet, understated but emotional moment would have served so much better. But no, if it's not at least near-death, it's not impressive enough... That sort of hyper-drama gets stale pretty fast if you ask me.
