I don't think my mind went as far as that. But "sudsy" is suggestive of any possible situation where one would be either wet or naked with lots of soap suds. I think that's the point of suggestive language like that in this case. They're not explicitly saying much, but instead they rely on the fact that most people will associate phrases like "hot sudsy fun" and "going to a deeper place" or whatever with clichés like the car-wash thing.
It also gives them an easy out, because they can say "oh it's just a reference to issue #3 when so-and-so has an accident with a washing machine, and 'deeper place'? We were talking about the human soul, people! Questions of life, the universe and everything! You people need to get your minds out of the gutter, you filthy-minded fools! Now, buy this comic!"
