All right, I seriously find it hard to believe that Norman could just pound on Deadpool like that

I don't, for two reasons.

1) Norman's done this before. He killed Swordsman needlessly because Swordsman got on his nerves. Normie's batshit insane with a hair trigger. Anyone who's spent ten minutes with him knows that his scheme is a house of cards.

2) Deadpool is really that annoying ;)

I see what you did there.

Actually he is just about the same strength as Spidey, with comparable speed so that is not so unlikely. He just doesn't have the agility (hence the glider).

I hate to sound like a rumble forum, but does anyone have any STRENGTH feats for Deadpool? Especially using his head and neck?

Actually, Norman isn't as strong as Spidey, at least from what I've always seen. He's strong enough to make Peter feel his punches, but I don't recall him ever overpowering Spidey or even trading punches on an even basis.

Hell, until Bendis and Ellis decided to start pimping him, Norman's only real victory against another superhuman was Ben Reily, and that was because the writers wanted Ben dead.

It's what Wade should have aimed for. Osborn is MOCKING Deadpool.

God, I want to see the two of them having a "who's crazier" contest now.

And waitwaitwait what? Is that HAIR I spy coming out of the hole in deadpools cowl on the last page?

Wade? Going out like a punk against Norman Osborn? Nuh uh. Reverse that panel and have Wade be the one pounding Norman's head into the floor and we're closer to the Wade that we all know and love.

You know you're doing something wrong when Deadpool looks sensible next to you. Granted this is Norman so "doing something wrong" is a given.

This isn't a jobbing. It is a feint. Wade is playing weak so he can steal Norman's wallet.

Seriously. Later on him and Taskmaster max out Norman's gold card getting cash advances at atms.

Mercs care about money first and pride last.

It's this one, I'm pretty sure, just a few pages later. It's a pretty hilarious ending, that you obviously don't see the setup for (your post proves that).

Well, at least I found it hilarious.

Can we just kill Norman now? Like with a chainsaw that cuts him up into tiny little pieces that can't be reasonably resurrected for at least one hundred years?

I am so sick of him...and pretty much any iteration of Goblin too. Bring me back Doc Ock, dammit!

Yeah, I think Osborn sucks and belongs in limbo. Wanna make something of it?

:P

Wade maybe insane but he isn't stupid. If he kills Norman then he'll have the entire US government on his back. So killing Norman won't solve anything. But maxing out Norman's credit card will :)

I'm calling it right now:

Just as LUKE CAGE was the one who defeated Norman Osborn before, while Spider-Man, Jonah and Urich all DID NOTHING, so too do I suspect that DEADPOOL will be the one to bring down Norman this time, because God forbid Spidey should EVER have a victory.
