THE STAR RIDERS

Wonder Woman and the Star Riders was a concept for a cartoon/comic series/action figure set that just never saw the light of day. The only thing that did come into being was this free comic packaged with Kellogg's brand Cinnamon Mini Buns cereal.

Check out Wonder Woman's long flowing tresses; the action figure would've been packaged with a li'l comb and hair accessories....

NOTE: Free promotional comic.

I got all those references too. (I am so glad there are other people who remember Princess Tenko. Love that show!)

But I did not know about this Amethyst cartoon or Golden Girls (not the comedy of the same name, but wouldn't it be funny if they had action figures too.) Anyways thanks for the insights and info.

They just released four episodes of Princess tenko on DVD over here in the UK.

Oh, and there isn't an Amethyst or Golden Girl cartoon, which was sort of my point.

The thought of Bea Arthur Golden Girls action figures is wonderful though...

I loved that show when I was a kid. I knew it was tripe and would likely lead to me getting cavities, but I loved it anyway.
