Yes, I know it was just Deadpool week, but...
I feel this is merited.

So for those of you who don't know yet, there's been a Deadpool movie confirmed as a spinoff of Wolverine... check here for more information: Deadpool Movie

In honour of this, I felt it necessary to post a couple of my favourite scans from Cable and Deadpool issue 21, featuring Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Weasel and the deliciously campy B.A.D. girls, contract mercenaries who were hired to steal the same thing that everyone else wants.

Mostly what you need to know about this is that the chick with the black hair (known as Black Mamba) has the mutant power to make people black out and hallucinate their darkest fantasies. The boys, after a fight scene, have begun to try and figure out just what is going on with the plot in this arc, and Cable's brought down the B.A.D. girls temporarily.

Key word "temporarily". Cue scene:

	I didn't see the Wolverine movie, but I heard Deadpool in there wasn't the Deadpool we know but more of some sort of super mutant guy. Wonder if the Deadpool movie will continue that thread or return to the merc with a mouth we all adore? (Reply to this) (Thread)

Reynolds, in all his interviews, is pretty adamant about the fact that he's only on-board for playing Deadpool for as long as they keep the movie faithful to Deadpool's origins - cancer, fourth-wall breaking, and the whole nine yards.

The movie!Pool (which I'm sort of growing fond of now oh God) could actually be pretty easily transformed into our favourite merc with a mouth - there were several hints dropped at the end of the movie to that effect - and considering this is Marvel, I doubt they'd have a problem handwaving some of the stuff away. ;)

I loved that Diamondback, Black Mamba, and Asp were in this issue (on TOP of Luke and Danny), although what the hell was up with Rachel wearing her throwing diamondy things on top of her hair? I kept wondering how they stayed attached.

It's too bad that Black Mamba later got fucked over by Marvel in the Nova book. No explanation as to why she's suddenly a villain again. Thanks, Abnett and Lanning. All that hard work of Cleo, Tanya, and Rachel working towards redemption in the Cap book thrown out the window.
