	Hope is so effective against Rage and Fear I think it'd be a good idea if it is the exact opposite for Greed. I mean both Hope and Greed are about what you desire. Hal's hope should be something like "I hope we all make it out of this and live to fight another day. And then I hope we survive that day and live to fight yet another day." Starting to like this. The art's nice.

This is Green Lantern, though, and for all my bitching I have to admit Johns has at least made GL(before Kyle fans go after me, I never read Kyle's stories and am speaking not at all of them pro or con, I mean Hal) entertaining for the first time since...who was writing it when it had those Perez covers and the Omega Men appeared? (and how many remember that they originated IN GL?) I like too that Vega's coming back into things. It occurs to me that orange tends to be a common color in the system. Tigorr and Starfire's skin comes to mind.

Again, it's GL--I'm not expecting Kubrick here. Just give me a grand scale space opera with some middlebrow philosophy. Won't be art but it'll be fun to read.
