Corps 101: The Blue Lanterns
As posted before, DC's blog The Source is posting breakdowns for the various Lantern Corps that have been popping up.

Today we see the Blue Lanterns, including two new ones.





It seems that they started with Green (for obvious reasons) and are now following ROY G. BIV, so tomorrow should be the mysterious Indigo Tribe. Funny, though, I would have thought that THEY would have had the religious theme to them, instead of the Blue Lanterns.

I love the designs, though. And I like that Red, Yellow, Green and Violet are just your average Corps, Orange is a one man Corps, Blue is limited to a few members because it's so powerful, and Indigo is apparently a tribe (perhaps with thousands of members?)

Oh, and since only Red and Orange have been posted before, here's the links to all the entries so far:

Same here. I can see the thumbnail at the main site but cannot see the big image. Tried on various computers and connections.

The Indigo Tribe one is pretty disappointing, though. They listed the emotion as compassion, as we know; the history as "The universe has yet to discover the existence of the Indigo Tribe", and powers, weaknesses and homeworld as "unknown". :|

The picture was pretty nifty, though.

The fact that it revealed that they were called the 'Indigo Tribe' is pretty good, IMO.

I'm quite happy with them not just being another [Colour] Lantern Corps.

I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't manage to work a Care Bear into the group (maybe in the Indigo?), but it's partially made up for by the Naughty Nun.

I will be so sad if the other Lantern Corps get wiped out after The Big Event.

Having an entire rainbow of Lantern Corps is one of the best things DC has done in the past two decades.

and just think. less than two decades ago they didn't even want one corps.

If only back then someone had stood up and said, "No, don't you see, we don't need fewer Lanterns! We need more, and they need to be all the colors of the rainbow! Adorable kitties, and horrible monsters, anthromorphic elephants and energy ghosts! And scantily clad babes!"

And then he gets dragged off to the room with the padded walls.

So all those years Kyle was running around as the last Green Lantern, and Ganthet was bitching at him to be careful because he was the last and there could be no more because the central battery was destroyed, Ganthet could have just built another central battery and started another Corps?
