Why Thanos is smarter than Spider-Man.

This is from Infinity Crusade #3. It's written by Jim Starlin and illustrated by Ron Lim.

Warlock and Thanos are trying to find a way to stop the Goddess.

I cropped the last panel out, because it was the start of another scene.

Later...

Warlock contacts Pip...

Thanos and Warlock's conversation with Mephisto continued in The Warlock Chronicles #3, written by Starlin and illustrated by Tom Raney.

After Warlock returns...

Finally, in Infinity Crusade #6, after the Goddess is defeated...

And that, boys n girls, is classic Thanos. Scheme upon scheme, games upon games. For all of his powers, toys and assets, it is Thanos' dark mind is most dangerous weapon.

I assume that blank panel is Adam realizing that he'd prevent evil by wiping everything out?

No, I just cropped that panel out because it dealt with an unrelated scene. :o

Ya know, I love that last line, but looking back, the Infinity War/Crusade really pissed me off.

Jim Starlin basically made all the heroes and villains of the MU look like total idiots for the sake of his pet creations. No one, not Reed Richards, Captain America, Dr. Strange, anyone! could even look at Warlock or Thanos without losing 50 IQ points.

If he never writes Thanos again, it'll be too soon.

Ron Lim always draws people with too many teeth.

Hate to be a wet blanket here but... isn't this rather over the new scan limit?

These are three issues, not one.

Having never read this before, I believe my actual IRL reaction was, "FUCK YEAH, THAT'S HOW WE DO IT ON TITAN, BITCHCAKES!!!"

Oh Thanos, never change.

What I like the most about him is his very dark, wry sense of humour.

Bah. Mephisto always looks stupid in these cosmic shows.

Well, to be fair, the cosmic event isn't what made Mephisto look like a Fraggle.

From your entry headline, I was expecting the Thanos-copter again.

I love Thanos

He is truly a cosmic character.

His evolution as a character has been pretty steady

Thanos isn't good.

Thanos isn't evil.

Thanos IS.
