Wolverine Has Seen Creepshow One Too Many Times....
Greetings True Believers! I'm bringing you a few scans from Rampaging Wolverine #1. Logan gets some grusome revenge. Spoilers and enjoy!
Also, did anyone else follow the Somali pirate thing? Let's give it up for the Navy Seals! Real-life Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!
Also part 2: Wolverine ethics question after the cut.
(For a fun sub-contest: What is Logan shouting!?! My guess: Where's the keg!)
This story is set after Logan gets his memories back. He now remembers his revenge list. He's on vol. 10-1950s.
Context: In the fifties Logan was fighting some pirates off the coast of South Korea in the fifties. He gets shot up and tossed overboard. He washes up on the shore of a small island and gets taken care of by a fisherman and his family and the fisherman's employee.
Remember! In the Marvel Universe, if you help/love/rescue/teach Logan, you have virtually assured your own bloody death.
Turns out the fisherman is under pressure from this shady businessman to sell his part of the island. He refuses and Logan beats up the businessman. The fisherman's employee sells them out and the business dudes hires the pirates from earlier to attack Logan and the fisherman.
The pirates kill the fisherman and his family. Logan kills the pirates and the businessman. But the employee gets away. Flash-forward!
Present day: The employee is now an old man who has spent his life helping the other residents of the island out of his guilt. Logan is not impressed.
Harsh. I don't know if I can behind Logan on this one. Ok, I see killing him. But was that really necessary? I mean just snikt him for god's sake! That was a really cruel death.
Was Wolverine justified in his actions? Your thoughts!
