The chick in the mask is Pantha. She was killed later by Superboy-Prime. She ends up as a romantic interest for Red Star, and is, incidentally, both a nineties anti-hero and a catgirl. She'd before her time.

The other girl is Mirage. She thinks she's from an alternate future where she and Dick were together, and shapeshifted into Starfire to infiltrate the Titans group of today. And in so doing, seduced Dick. She is only the first superchica to rape Dick, and not even slightly the last.

	The whole "I'm going to kidnap Starfire, hold her prisoner, whilst I shapeshift to impersonate her to sleep with someone who has already said NO to me", was one of THE most repellent aspects of the Titans at that time, and the pretty much complete lack of retribution also seemed very, very wrong. A bait and switch is a simple fraud, this was fraud with a deliberate sexual aim, so legally though, it was non-consensual sex, inasmuch as Dick did not consent to sex with Miri, no matter what she looked like. Miri gloating about the fact she conned him into sex is particularly loathesome

great scene, awful storyline

I love Pantha's reaction, she was a character that grew on me over time. However, I hated this storyline. I thought that Dick sleeping with Mirage and not realizing she wasn't Kory was unrealistic. At the time Dick was billed as DC's second greatest detective but he didn't notice a difference in his girlfriend's movement, speech or behavior? A few issues later Deathstroke realizes that a disguised Mirage is not Kory just by looking at her walk. So a man with one eye could figure it out but not her detective boyfriend? I think that this was supposed to put strain on Kory & Dick's relationship without making either of them the "bad guy" who went out and sought an affair. This was a case of Marv repeating storylines but at least Kory's "political wedding" made more sense. If you ignore the fact that a second kingdom on Tamaran was never mentioned before the political marriage came up to break up Dick and Kory.

I wondered if it would've worked to use Dick/Babs to introduce the all-important stress. As you said, it would've been a lot more organic than Mirage, and given how many of Dick's relationship issues with Kory have to do with her alienness, I could see him being drawn to a "friend" that's just an easy Earth girl. Was she in Suicide Squad around this time or Birds of Prey? Either would've been a good excuse for her to be a recurring Teen Titans cameo.
