Agreed.
I actually think Sanjo and Nami's stories were what struck out the most with me.
And from this manga, the one scene that really got to me from the Arlong arc that wasn't posted was when Nami whispered "Please..." to Luffy, and Luffy, not requiring any explanation, leaves his straw hat with her and tells the team to come with him to take out Arlong.
I think the reason that was powerful was two things: 1.) it shows how much Luffy cares about his teammates, not bothering with side-stories or lies, and just goes on the thought: "they fucked with my teammates; that alone is the only reason why I need to do this" and 2.) the fact that Luffy leaves his straw hat with Nami, a hat he cherishes very much, was a somber point that Luffy doesn't expect to survive the battle, and leaving the hat with Nami ensures she'll take care of it, but also, at that point, Nami realizes that Luffy was willing to die for her and village.
