It's the closest to how a human could understand it. Wittgenstein once said that even if a dog (or any animal) could talk, it doesn't mean its thoughts would be in any way comprehensible to us. Besides LW's point that dogs simply have too alien a frame of reference, there's also the amount of a dog's world, the dimensions to their perception(considering their senses of smell, hearing and sight), that simply could not be expressed accurately in words.
