We can hope! I stopped paying attention after she got kicked out of Lexcorp by Giant Bald Hologram Head That Couldn't Possibly Have Any Authority Over Her, but I still don't want to see her dead. It would just reinforce my opinion of current DC goings-on, you know?

Honestly, with all the Blackest Night shenaigins about dead rising and the obvious White Ring coming up that'll more than likely ressurect everyone killed in BN I really wouldn't worry.

Yes, because that makes everything SO much better. "Hey, don't worry about all the killing we're going to do THIS crossover! The next one coming is going to undo everything anyway!"

I appreciate the thought, but I try to go by two basic rules for comic death. 1), it should be AWESOME, in-character, and rare. Barry Allen's dying was that way. 2), it should goddamn well STICK. If you kill someone, it should be thoroughly thought out, planned ahead, and not retconned! (Barry Allen's death WAS that way.) MOSTLY dead, NEARLY dead, hanging on by a thread, all these things are okay. But if you kill someone, let them rest! It just makes the whole thing so meaningless when you keep invoking a revolving-door afterlife.

Yeah but the entire point of BN is to have one big finale with lots of deaths, bring most of em back and then shut teh death door for a good long time. The writers have even said that this story is diiscussing the way death works in the DCU and providing a lock on the door for a long while.

...You're giving me HOPE? Is that even allowed? :D

You should really read BN, the main title at least. It's a pretty great combo of the space opera sort of stuff you get in Green Lantern and a Marvel Zombies if was actually, you know, not fucking dumb as all hell.

And if the zombies weren't spending pages and pages discussing their digestion. I remember picking up MARVEL ZOMBIES and finding myself bored to death watching them go on and on about that crap. NOT INTERESTING.

...it wasn't obvious to me :( but mainly because I'm trying to pretend this arc doesn't exist w/the "Hey look, reanimated dead loved ones!" shenanigans.

That being said, now that I've considered the "White Ring" scenario...

"There is only ONE Lord of the Rings, only one that can bend the Ring to his will...AND HE DOES NOT SHARE POWER!" ;)

Well Hal has pretty much worn the Red, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Blue rings so far. Once he wears the Indigo and Violet ones for a bit he'll more than likely get the power of all of them most likely meaning a White Ring.

More likely, from what I've been reading, they're going to try to unite a representative of each of the corps to work together and combine their power, which would result in the White Light that destroyed the Black in the beginning. I also think that Superman might have something to do with it, because he's been shown in this very mini to be continuiously feel all of the emotional spectrum at any one time.

Wasn't it not all? He didn't show greed or (at the time) compassion.
