And I just noticed she seems to be glowing orange (similar to Phoenix fire aura) on the cover. Definetly some Phoenix stuff goin' down there.

Well, for Hope specificly, it is only the second time she's been in this timrframe. Maybe she's another mutant who happens to be an appropriate host for the phoenix?
