The stuff that can LEAD to a crime that Batman rarely takes into consideration.
You want him to stop crime before it even starts? Batman now has to do that, too? Well, actually, he does.
For example, she's saying that some guy committed a crime because... um his mom can't see a doctor, I guess. Bruce started and funds the Thomas Wayne Memorial Clinic in Crime Alley.
She's saying some guy committed a crime because he had an early police record. Bruce Wayne has worked with mentoring programs for kids that were in trouble with the law.
He's a philanthropist and his foundation supports multiple causes and social programs.
I find it interesting, too, to remember that Batman only ever takes an interest in the rehab of--some of--the costumed ones.
Do you mean criminals or costumed heroes 'gone bad'?
Also, you know, superhero comic, so most of the villains do have a costume. At any rate, he still does take an interest in rehabilitation. I was just reading one where he accompanied a criminal out of jail and to his parole officer's and tried to help get the guy stay straight.
