Everything seemed to change in a day and it made Roy a little nervous. He had heard of people leaving, but not like this. It seemed like a lot of people just vanished and he was just relieved, so fucking relieved that Thea was still here. Here sucked, but it was better with Thea. And Oliver - he couldn't lie about that. He had heard that Felicity was one of the ones who had left, even Sara and damn, he couldn't even imagine what Oliver was going through. He hadn't asked, Oliver didn't like it too much when people tried to pry so he figured that if Oliver wanted something from him, then he'd ask. Right now, Roy just decided to do what he usually did, which was work and hang with Thea. He did some vigilante work around town most nights too, but lately, he and Thea had been training. Obviously he went easy on her, but he let her unleash on him. It worked.
Thea was still at work and he started to text Oliver, but he didn't. Instead, he started toward Opus. Ever since the robbery, Roy had been lurking - just in case anyone had decided to try and rob the place again. Sure, there was a security system in there now, but it was just a security system. It wasn't good enough, so he took it upon himself to watch the place some nights in between doing what other things he needed to do.
As he was heading toward Opus, he noticed some guy looking up at a church. Normally, it wasn't a big deal to him, but something just felt off. People were walking past him and around him and he was just staring up at it, not paying anyone any attention. Roy stopped, wondering if he was crazy or some shit, wondering if he was going to go in and vandalize the place - or worse.
After a few minutes of the same shit, Roy decided to walk over.
"You alright, man?" Raising his eyebrow, he wondered if he was casing the joint, or if he just had a hard on for churches.
