"Why would I be in trouble? I can handle myself and I just finished with my shift, I'm a bike courier. I just like stopping here sometimes." Ben brought his eyes back over to the Blue Lady and he smiled as how content and protected he felt just looking at her face. He could still feel the man's eyes on him so he glanced back to him.
"My sisters are here, Jondy and Max. We're here to help protect the city from the nomalies." Ben's eyes followed a man into the confession booth and he wondered what his sin was, was it big enough to be a sacrifice for the Blue Lady's protection? He was sure a town like this had plenty of people in it who deserved that fate. He did his best not to think about it because Max and Jondy were trying very hard to get him to relax and be normal here, live a life.
"If you're ever in trouble though, I'm sure me and my sisters could take care of it." He brought his eyes back to the man with the concerned looking expression and the nervous heart rate wondering what Ben was going to do. He extended his hand to introduce himself, which was odd and felt odd to him. These were strangers and Ben's only role was to make sure they were safe, that was their mission. "I'm Ben."
