It's no use if you don't make an effort though...

Anyway it's not that you have to change anyone's minds, it's that you can't keep acting on your own. 'Cause that says you don't trust their efforts. It's hard to accept, but Lacerta knows what they're doing when it comes to this place, and they do their best to keep Watanuki safe always. That's something good, that's something you should work with.

It'll keep you out of situations like this, with the whole Mirror thing...

I haven't spoken to Mirror in a long time, I just don't know how else to help when things go wrong.

I do trust Lacerta to keep him safe, or I would be here much more often. But they don't trust me and my ability to keep him safe either. He wouldn't have lived long enough to even be here if it wasn't for me.

[hff] Well, I know how that is... I don't have much I can do for my own teams, even, since I'm pretty much just a normal guy. Sometimes your concern and company will have to be enough. That probably would be enough for Watanuki, he seems happiest when he knows someone cares.

Haaa... No one else over here knows you very well though... The biggest impressions people have of you is that you don't care about anything except Watanuki and you'll barrel through them without a thought, making decisions about him on your own... I figure that's not entirely intentional, since you've kinda got Watanuki blinders on, but [shrug...] that's just not how it works here. You may have saved him countless of times before coming here but what they see here will be the difference...

I guess that makes things sound kinda hopeless but knowing where you might've misstepped is a step toward avoiding doing it in the future.

[Unfortunately doesn't seem to notice that button; he doesn't seem to be discussing Ursa's abilities at all, more Lacerta's relation to Doumeki.]

I just remembered something horrible and I needed to talk to Watanuki about it, and then to find out he was unconscious on top of that because he'd tried to kill himself again, I didn't react well. 	There's nothing I can do about it. I knew he'd done this to himself, but I didn't know the reason before, and I do now. I don't think he's in a good place to punch sense into right now. And even if he was, I don't think that would help my reputation with Lacerta. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Aa... It's fine to just feel things out. Even if there's nothing you can change, at least he'll know he can talk to you about it if you offer to listen to why, that sort of thing... [shrug] I don't know for sure. But I think being in a team setting really changes a lot of things. Stuff that was just your own decision before kinda becomes everyone's business cause the team wants to take care of their own. Sometimes that happens in a bad way, sometimes in a good way...

And because of that.. maybe he wasn't comfortable then but he is now. Seems like you just have to find out...
