[There's no way to change directions midair, not like that, so the tonfa hits solidly in the stomach. Emil makes a noise that could be a breathless bark of laughter or a floundering gasp of the air being knocked out of him, and grabs onto Hibari's shoulder with her free hand, using him as a springboard into the air to flip behind him. Emil lands, crouching and guarding, sword out in a guarding stance]
