[Sometimes you just can't go half an hour in Sabra without something breaking the peace. Relatedly, there's a gratingly loud noise coming from the arena. If you head down there, two rough circles have been sketched on the floor. This thing is standing inside one. Two Uraeus are loitering around the other one, discussing important matters.]

	We don't know. That's the problem, here. We thought it was random, or thinly connected with a state of despondency, but if what Jace heard is right, there's nothing random about it. The warning seemed to hint that a target had been picked in advance. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Was Cygnus picked in advance? We don't know. Will it spread to Pyxis? We don't know. Is the warning even for us? We don't know that, either. All I do know is that it's stupid to stay here at night for the time being, and that I'm not willing to risk Cetus by running to them with our tails between our legs. If the target is picked in advance and there's a risk of it spreading to Cetus, then they shouldn't be in their dorm either. That would suggest they target us by partnerteam, which we've seen no evidence for. Staying outside is just as high a risk, if not higher. If the creatures here take shelter in the night like it's been suggested, then there is something bigger out there that I certainly don't want to meet.

If the target is picked in advance and we stay with Cetus like you want to do, it doesn't matter whether it's decided by partnerteam. It will get them along with us. Think a little bit!

We know there's something bigger out there, and that it comes from the ground. That's not up for debate. We also know that this stone protects us from it, to some degree- that even the older dorms offer some sort of shelter. That means that if we stay on the roof, we'll be shielded from the worst of it, and if something comes up through the dorm, we'll still have a chance to escape.

	There's no evidence that it goes after specific people. From everything we've seen, it's an opportunistic hunter that will go after near empty dorms, but doesn't have the intelligence to actually hunt down any specific person. There are plenty of options that don't involve exposing ourselves to that kind of danger! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	No evidence? Of course there's evidence. That's exactly what the warning Jace got seems to imply. If we take it as true, then whichever judge gave the warning knew who the next team would be.
