	The Earl of the Millennium cuts deals with humans, promising to bring their dead loved ones back to life. People call those souls into the body of an Akuma, then the Earl controls them from there. 	Our previous lives still affect us through each other though... But in any case, there's no need to ascribe more importance to one or the other. People change naturally. I imagine even with our memories complete, being pulled from our world to somewhere so different would still change us. It would only be less fragmented. ...Is the difference worrying? 	Your motivations may be different but I don't think your values are so unrelated as that... Well, either way, it seems to be something that will resolve itself with time.
