[ and it buries itself deep into raptor flesh and bone, a messy grinding squelching in the air as it severs a leg by the thigh, and the raptor drops its prize to release an ear-piercing screech as it falls over. ]

[ the cost of this being the second pair of jaws clamping mercilessly down on Riku's right shoulder. ]
