We're alright. Since we're alive I can't complain. I don't know when I'll get used to not being Canis' partner, but we're still close and we'll still trade, so... I suppose it isn't the worst of our problems.

The others are doing much better than me, ahah. I wish I could explore, but ah... I'm probably going to have to wait until there's more food... this is really as far as I go.

	[nods] I took a walk yesterday, but I've been sticking by the dorms a lot too. Replanting the garden and fixing the traps so we can get fish. There's a kind of clawed thing, looks kind of like a crab. We'll have to put them out deeper then the original traps, but I guess it wouldn't be such a big deal since the lake's closer.
