Who: At least one person from each unit!
Where: Your dorm door
When: Day 203, Noonish
What: Deliveries! . . . is that a puddle?

[Pavo is coming on their FIRST FOREMAN TASK to deliver bags full of delicious building materials to you! To YOUR TEAM!

Which . . . also gives them a bit of an unfortunate chance to take a good look around.]

That's . . . really strange.

((If you comment, put your team name in the subject line! Otherwise we will start a thread with your name, feel free to hop in.

Inside the bags are:
- Sugar cubes, a whole lot of them.
- Graham crackers and ginger bread wrapped in kerchiefs of your colours.
- Frosting in a small tin.
- Gumdrops
- Green coloured coconut shavings.
- A small note inviting one or two of your team to Delphinus for talking and possibly learning about potato pancakes.))

Um, nothing specific yet. Just... maybe something like what I usually do...?

[in other words, he wasn't thinking about the dorm design at all so much as DECORATING GINGERBREAD]

Uh-huh. Let's say you get one room to design for now, for yourself, and let's see what the rest of us want for us, hmm?

Good. Garden first, though. I wonder if we have enough sheets to dry everything?

I don't know, but we can try? And if we run out, we run out.

Yeah. Hope not though, we could replant that if we don't have to eat it.

Well, the potatoes don't really need dirt to survive to be replanted. If it's just the herbs and medical plants we need to worry about, maybe we'll have enough?

Maybe. We'll see. At this rate, we'll be able to fish from our doorstep in a week.

That'd be bad when we're supposed to be avoiding the water...

Yeah. We should wash this stuff off before we dry it at any rate: I'd like not to make any of us sick right now.

R-right, definitely.

It's too bad though, the lake flooding the one time we need to avoid it. Having fish on the door-step would be nice.

Nice brisk stroll around the neighborhood and bam, dinner. Too easy.

We could have just had a bunch of traps or a net connected to the dorms and checked them whenever. We wouldn't have to fish at all, they'd just come to us.

Maybe we'd get lucky and find something like crawfish or some other bottomfeeder that isn't entirely insane to supplement the fish. Make a difference.

Maybe we'll get lucky in the new block? New kinds of seafood would be nice, maybe even shellfish.

Yeah, or some more natural wall growing plants. Or even a source of grain.

Or eggs. I mean, I know there's not likely to be birds down here but it'd be nice, for cooking.

Some lizards lay eggs. Maybe if the new area has lizards, we can find a place where they lay them.
