When we got to the Pillar... it wasn't much of a Pillar at all, really. It was broken. There were boulders, with people still in, and- in the back- a hole in the wall through which a dreadful wind blew. The walls were still lined with people, trying hard to get out... but... it seemed like they were being sucked in. I saw... a hand... that- [s-shudder]

... The wind picked up once we got there. Allen's arm kept us from being pulled in, but... most of us collapsed... then there were some, well... [indicates herself like it's very very obvious] ... changes.

	Surely you must have seen them before, but... I suppose if I must humor you... Easily my height or greater in span, complex clockwork mechanisms- they are attached to the body through a series of connection points in the joints... They did detach, of course.
