Who: Everyone!
Where: The Arena
When: Day 173, morning
What: A game, a game!

[There's a tick-tock, tick-tock coming from the arena today, and as you get closer it multiplies, the ticking of clocks and the rustle of papers chiming together in a whole bunch of ticky noises. When you arrive, the statue is of a man in his prime, with a watch on his wrist and his arms and chest scribbled on all over with numbers and foreign characters. The marks range from clumsy to an intricately detailed hand, diagrams of dots and lines, numbers, all kinds of markings. some are even "carved" into the stone.

He's leaning standing in front of a simple sundial on a pedestal. If he's aware of the irony of a sundial in a place with no sun, he finds it hilarious, going by the broad grin on his face.]

The time, the time-- just look at the time! How it flies. It's time for me to make an appearance!

Will something important happen to-day? Will everyone remember? You all grow so fast! ♪ It makes me remember the past... Aah, which is more exciting, the past of the future? Or what's happening now? I just can't decide.

The game is afoot, everyone! Be gentle, it's my first time!

Oh. I guess that explains that.

[ducks his head for a moment. watching you move around the kitchen curiously out of the corner of his eye.]

[pauses for a moment before getting out a kitchen knife- oh, right, if he has no memories right now then it shouldn't bother him- and then starting to slice up some of the edible mushrooms, pretty thinly, since things cook all the way through faster like that, though it doesn't matter so much with the mushrooms]

Yeah.

[watches for a few more moments before straightening a little more]

So, uh, you remember how to do that?

Cook, you mean? Yeah, some of it's remembered, but some of it's from watching others or things I figured out on my own. I think I'm pretty good at it.
