Mm!

Ahh . . . it's a little . . . like the way flowers smell.

Pleasant-smelling flowers, I should hope.

Mm! Like that.

I still remember . . . 'this is bread', or 'this is Sunny's porridge'. And it still smells good. It's just . . . not really a food smell.

Taste, too.

Not a food taste?

Maybe, more . . . it's not the same hunger.

Ah, but things in games . . . Soldier's drinks are still really good.

All the more reason to take advantage of them while they're around.

Mm! I like his games.

Even if everything's bright and loud after.

It seems as though it's been some time since he ran one. Perhaps we'll get another soon.

Maybe . . . another birthday party.

He has those a lot.

Does he indeed?

I was rather under the impression that you should only have the one.

I remember . . . two? And the first time, people asked 'Again?' a lot, so . . . three so far, at least.

Perhaps he's the right idea.

Perhaps each of us can have several.

Even if we remembered our real birthdays, we don't know 'when' we are, right now.

The days are longer . . . I wonder how much time is in a year, here.

Speaking of time, my dear.

You're rather good with it, aren't you?

I don't suppose you'd be able to tell me how long it's been since I woke up?

Summer woke up on the ninetieth day.

That was seventy-two days ago, now.

Has it been so long already? Good heavens. It feels much shorter.

More than two months, by the calendars at home.

What made Summer want to know?

The days are a little bit longer. By the torches . . . it's an hour more, from when they rise and fall and rise again.

Just a little bit. Even if we use it to sleep, most days.
