Because saving the world is easy. Dealing with teenage hormones... not so much.
Xavier's School of Gifted Youngsters, Xavier's School of Higher Learning, Xavier's School of Witchcraft and Wiz--no, wait...
Call it what you will. The school is in Winchester, New York, and is filled with mutants. Some of the mutants are hiding from the world--hiding from their friends and family, and others have run away because of their mutation. All are at the school for the same purpose: to learn to better control their powers and make a place for them inside a world that fears them.
Set in real time, this role-playing game takes place at Xavier's School. Students and Faculty are available for play.

World’s End is a panfandom game focusing on the survivors of destroyed worlds, and what they choose to do afterward. Some try to eek out a new existence at “The World’s End,” a world many of the displaced arrived at after the destruction of their home world. Others seek to combat what is commonly called “the darkness,” the eater of worlds, and prevent it from corrupting and destroying even more worlds. Some study “The Door” at The World’s End, and the machinery left behind by Ansem the Wise, hoping to gain information that may allow them to restore the lost worlds and those who lived there.
The outlook is bleak, and oblivion waits just outside the door, but they aren’t called “survivors” for no reason, and there may be a way to fix this yet. But they’ll have to work with strangers to do it, if they don’t destroy themselves from within first.

About the Game
Is that darkness, or is that hope? |

The year is 1976, and the marauders have entered their sixth year. There has been talk in pureblood families of a 'Dark Lord', a man who's sole interest is purifying the wizarding world of muggles and muggleborns. He has enlisted the help of Hogwarts students, staff, and men living in Hogsmeade. With these minions, Lord Voldemort has already attacked many muggleborns, blood traitors, and Hogwarts. With the increasing attacks on Hogwarts, Headmaster Dumbledore has been given few options. After a muggleborn's death, the Headmaster has decided to lock the school, while letting the students outdoors for select hours of the day. The Ministry of Magic has sent Hogwarts six aurors to help protect students and screen mail. No one gets in, and no one gets out. For now, Hogwarts has been at a lull - but how long will it last? Many students believe the attacks are coming from within Hogwarts, and fear the worst.
What are the students to do? Headmaster Dumbledore has come up with the only possibly solution - he needs help. He needs a group of trusted people to fight back, and so begins the Order of the Phoenix. Slowly but surely these young witches and wizards will be trained to fight and protect themselves.

| The Devil’s on the Loose.
Whoa, thought it was a nightmare, but no such luck. Heaven and Hell are at war and neither side is looking very promising for the human race. Demons are… well… demons. Most angels are self righteous, manipulative pricks. Where does that leave us? Welcome to the world of Hunters, celestial beings, fiends, unclean spirits and a black ’67 Chevy Impala. There’s a little Apocalypse going on, and ya’ll are invited. God is missing from heaven and the kids decided to throw a hell of a party while he’s away. So where is He, and why isn’t he interceding? Or is he?
”Twixt Heaven and Hell” is a Supernatural RP based on the 5th season of the series, up to episode "Changing Channels", 5.8 with a limited number of players allowed. The show characters are expected to be portrayed as Cannon. No Slash or any other non-cannon style pairings allowed among the show’s scripted players. Original characters are allowed and their sexuality is totally up to the players. This will be an adult game. It allows sexual situations, swearing, and descriptive violence. However, please note this is plot and character driven, with the players having to really do some research to figure out the ‘creature’ cases. |
