They? They are the Nox. They are wild fires, they are hurricanes, they are landslides. They are murderers, corrupt politicians, and rapists. They destroy the "destroyers of the world."
The only protection we have are the ones who survived their attacks. The ones who know the Nox are there, the ones who have the power to stop them.

Dear Prospective Student,
We here at Bainbridge Academy of Excellence have the immense pleasure of informing you that you have been accepted into our educational programs for the fall and spring semesters of this school year. It is with much deliberation that we made this decision, and we hope that our choice of accepting you opens a new field of opportunities for your future. The talents and gifts that our scouts assured us you have look to be quite promising. We cannot wait to see the progress you will make under our grueling educational program that is not only geared toward improving your minds, but also the social stature you were born with.
Along with this letter, you will be receiving a packet of information that includes our student's code of conduc, as well as your enrollment forms for the fall semester. Please read through each of these elements carefully. Once you have covered everything, fill out the enrollment form and send it back to the school's address so that we can get to the business of arranging a dorm room and class schedule for you.

Bainbridge Academy is a community-based, roleplay that takes place within a very “preppy” boarding school setting. We're just getting started, so there's plenty of time to begin plotting story lines with other players. Almost all PB's that you could possibly want are still available for the claiming. We want to work hard to make this a roleplay that is known for its friendliness, creativeness, and fun atmosphere. Join today! Summer classes begin June 4th, with the fall semester officially beginning August 25th, and we still need more teachers and students to make this community lively!

...and all the inhabitants are living a simple, happy life. King Char and his Queen Ella are resting peacefully in their graves, and all seems to be normal.
Or is it?
Ogres roam the land, hoping to capture and eat those not smart enough to escape them. Fairies cast spells, elves read minds, and books can be magical. All in all it's not your average place.
Then one day something happens. A coach traveling from a far away land brings with it a sick passenger. Soon, the sickness spreads throughout the kingdom.
Every day more people in Frell are dying from The Gray Death, its fingers taking hold of thousands of lives.

welcome to the isle of camillus.At first glance, the Isle of Camillus seems like a paradise frozen in time. The Greco-Roman city stands in the center of the island surrounded by a large wall, cutting it off from the rest of the world that never seems capable of finding it. The convenience of modern technology and plumbing has yet to find it's way here - the wells are evenly spaced around the city so no one has to walk too far. Isn't that convenient enough? The local residents are friendly enough, though they don't seem big on talking; especially when it comes to the island itself. They run their small shops, hold a market day in the Town Square weekly, and their lives seem uninterrupted. The culture is muddled and strange, so much so that no one visiting could really put their finger down on what it was. A large, mansion-like building is where the welcomed visitors of the island can rest their heads and store their clothes until they are able to find ways to support themselves and their own homes to live within. The only sign of any set religion is one temple at the top of a large hill - the temple of the Goddess Adephagia. . .
the truth behind the island.
Adephagia was the Greek Goddess of gluttony. When the fall of the Greco-Roman empires began, she had no intention of losing her power over the people. Taking her own section of the universe, she began to pull in people from various areas around the world - as well as various worlds themselves. She used the energy of the new comers as her own life force, keeping herself young and powerful. The longer the people stayed, the more they forgot their own homes, and eventually they became what are now the residents of the Isle of Camillus.
But their energy has weakened severely. They become ill easier, die younger - and Adephagia can no longer use their offspring for her own energy. Beginning to take others from other worlds, she is rebuilding her population as she slowly wipes out the old. She gives the allure of comfort and security while using those who are forced to stay for her own gains. Sometimes people are sent home when their energy leaves a foul taste in Adephagia's mouth, but normally, they are stuck for good, feeding her until they become as useless as their predecessors.
Welcome to the Isle of Camillus. Your stay may be a long one.
