The Floating Vagabond ( the_love_boat) boasts five decks of entertainment! Join us for a cruise and you'll be welcome to enjoy a high class movie theater, amazing restaurants, two large pools, two fantastic libraries (one stocked with the latest, the greatest, and the classic muggle literature, and the other stocked with every wizarding book you can imagine), and state of the art sound systems in our several large community lounges. This fantastic blend of Wizarding and muggle cultures will keep you spellbound as you enjoy the freedoms that come with the starlight deck, having a drink at the Olde English Pub, taking a spin in our beautiful Ballroom or just lounging around in your room enjoying the luxury. All of our five star rooms come complete with a mini-fridge and microwave, full cable and free movies. Don't worry about your things; your trunk will show up in your room. Once you're on our ship, you'll never want to leave. Which is good, because you'll never be able to.
The Love Boat is a Harry Potter AU game where you can have any character at any age from any era you can imagine. The characters show up randomly on the ship, then interact with each other. Ever wondered what a conversation between Harry Potter and Godric Gryffindor would be like? Or how Luna Lovegood and Merlin would interact? Well, come on over and find out! We have a strong player base and have been around since October of 2007.
People "pop" in and out of the ship all the time. In joining the_love_boat you're not trying to "break into an established community". You're bringing a character fresh in from his or her own time line, and it's completely natural for him or her not to know what's been happening on the ship. Long story short, don't worry about "doing homework" and reading up on the community. The other characters will be glad to catch you and your character up!

They weren't sure what caused it, just that it happened. A spill. Not lethal-- not enough to kill anyone. It was hardly enough to make anyone sick, really. So the powers that be, let it be. It was going to be too hard to clean up anyways. And the public turmoil it would have caused--! Too much trouble for one little, teensy mishap. It wasn't hard to cover it up. They made up for the lost chemicals by claiming they used too much in another project. When push came to shove, the scientists at the plant went into great (fake) detail, and no more questions were asked.
It wasn't until they realized that it'd gotten into the drinking supply that they started getting worried. People began showing up at the clinics and the hospital with shortness of breath, stomach bugs, and headaches. 'These things are normal in the summer months,' the doctors told the patients, and they went home unhelped. Sure, they were normal-- stomach bugs and headaches. But was it normal for a cut to heal overnight? Or fire to just spontaneously burst from a hand? Doubtful.
And it wasn't just a few people. It was the entire town of Bristol, Rhode Island that was affected. Everyone who had a sip to drink from the tap or cooked spaghetti or showered. Everyone.
How will the town cope with their new powers? Will they take advantage of them or refuse to embrace their fates? Will the entire population turn into a giant battle of good vs. evil?
One thing is for sure. There's something in the water....

Imagine a world where the tales you heard as a child were real, a world where everything of fantasy was reality. A world of princesses, knights in shining armor, fantastical creatures, dangerous woods, glass slippers and more. Imagine if that world were at your fingertips.
Every character in the tales of old has a story long beyond 'ever after.' Does the maiden stay with her prince? Are all wolves creatures filled with evil intent? Do the bad guys really rot in prison, do they really die?
Into The Woods is a roleplay community based on the stories found in fables, folklore, legend and traditional fairy tales. We are seeking dedicated players who focus on quality writing and player driven plot lines. For detailed information, please visit our site. Check us out today! |

would anyone pb a youngish seth green, johnny knoxville, bam margera, carey hart, nick 13, davey havok, or jade puget? the icons would have to portray them as a convincing high school student, but I would love to have any of them for these lines at school. if you're interested, leave a comment on that biography post instead of here, because I'm about to head out for a while and probably won't be able to find this post again.
