The space race has begun, the civil rights movement is just beginning, Andy Warhol is ushering in a time of art and philosophy for the next generation. It's not just minorities, and women fighting to be accepted, there are mutants as well. Most hidden, some making their presence known in the most destructive of ways. The government has had to step in, hoping that forming their own team of heroes it will help calm public opinion. The X Men and Excalibur are hardly more than a rumor. Secret teams that have shown up and disappeared with the same mystery. The Brotherhood, on the other hand, is very well known, but hard to find. Destiny is so much more than a word, it's something to work for, to fight for, to grab with both hands. The world is moving forward, you can either move with it, or be left behind. We are a Marvel based game that allows members to play their favorite characters, original and canon, and play in a time period wrought with conflict, history, and plenty of drama! Payback: A Next-Gen RPG [27 Dec 2011|05:14pm] Payback is a Harry Potter, Next-Gen game set in 2027. It's primarily a social game, with a game-wide plot that will be advanced from time to time. Much of the plot specifics will be determined by in-game character interactions and player input. On Jan 1st, 2027 the Daily Prophet revealed a new column called The Karma Files. Penned by an anonymous source, the Karma Files divulged gossip and secrets of the juiciest sort. At first, the column was amusing. Little tidbits that made life...interesting, to say the least. All around London, witches and wizards were all talking about the column. But then, the secrets started to get darker, and it became obvious that the author of the Karma Files has a grudge against the Wizarding World. The more dangerous the column becomes, the more everyone wonders: Are the sins of the parents going to be visited upon the next generation? People are disappearing at alarming rates and there is an overall feeling of uneasiness over wizarding society. As the world prepares to go to war, things in Hogwarts continue on as usual. Prefects are chosen, Quidditch is played and the usual teenage drama allows it’s self to unfold. It’s not as if the students have no idea what’s going on out there, they would just like one more chance to be children before going to war. juvenescent is a sixth year MWPP game focusing on the social and every day lives of the Hogwarts students.
