[30 Oct 2011|12:35am] Officially Opening November 5th In the small sleepy college town of Black Falls, all seems well. But lurking under the surface trouble is brewing. It would seem the citizens are destined to be the prey of a war between hell and the human race. The clock is ticking! At midnight on October 31st all hell will break loose. Literally. Only those few college students who were lucky enough to purchase their Halloween costumes at a small costume shop located on the campus of Black Falls College, have the chance to survive and preserve their souls. What side will you fall on? Please check the premise for more details. This is a Mature rated game. Moderator Note: I am looking for humans and demons. ESPECIALLY DEMONS. But frankly I need to fill a wide range of characters. This is a brand spanking new game!!! The game will begin on November 5th, 2011 but is set to take place in game on October 31st, 1999. Human characters will need to choose a costume, and choose well. Each come with their own limitations and bonuses. Demons too have special abilities and limitations. It is in essence a survival horror game. Currently I have two characters reserved for players I know from previous games I have run. I run this game essentially like a Dungeon master, I do not play a character, I simply oversee the world it is set in. I would like to recruit a wide range of characters and players to give the game more diversity. For those interested in applying, humans must be students. Ten years later, there was a telly in the home of every witch and wizard with programming ranging from goblin talk shows to galleon game shows to dramas, comedies, music videos, and even movies. More recently, 2021 saw the advent of reality shows, like The Fashion Show and Love Potion No. 9. Get Real! was conceived by Maximus Trimble and Rhonda Roads as a way to appeal to the teenage demographic as well as pull in an older crowd on the strength of nostalgia. It's a reality TV show all about the life of the "average" Hogwarts student and the drama, laughs, and loves that blossom between them. Season 1 begins filming this school year. By proxy of returning to school this year all students and parents have given their permission to be featured and/or mentioned on the programme. Pax Letale: a modern myth game [30 Oct 2011|08:01pm] PAX LETALE: GODS REBORN In Southern California, there recently opened a new luxury apartment building. Impeccably designed, impossibly convenient, ideally located, Pax Letale is the sort of residential Shangri La where Southern Californians spend all manner of favors and years trying to secure a spot. But Pax doesn't have a waiting list, nor can a place there be bought or sold. The people who find their way to Pax Letale belong there. Every tenant of Pax is a reincarnated deity, some of whose worshipers are by and large long dead. Once very real, these gods began to fade as science and reason dispelled the probability of their existence. Reborn as mortals, their essences remain, waiting to be awakened. Somehow, sometimes one by one, sometimes in groups or pairs, these creatures of destiny have discovered Pax, and have not been able to resist its pull. For at Pax Letale, the awakening has begun. As these gods rediscover themselves and each other, the seemingly invisible but ubiquitous management tracks each of them quite closely, and the very building itself seems to have an agenda of its own. And as the gods made humans in their own image - or humans made them in theirs - so will the the behavior of the people of Pax turn as dark as their myths. Twin of and best friend of Ereshkigal, goddess of the Underworld, he is often seen as a positive foil to his brother Enlil, utilizing his magic and cunning for the good of others; he brings aid to deities and humans alike, serving as a rare masculine nuturer in a chaotic and often oppressively patriarchal pantheon. He will likely have connections to Tiamat, Ereshkigal, and other Sumero-Babylonian deities. Zeus is the king of the Greek gods, and the god of sky and weather, law, order and fate. [30 Oct 2011|11:34pm] ♫ LET'S BE ROCK STARS ♫ It was 1991 and Kirley McCormack was bored. He was out of Hogwarts, and had the rest of his life to look forward to but didn't know what to do with it. He'd never been very good at Quidditch, so he had no interest in following the family tradition. There was one thing he had a passion for, and that was music. A passion that was equally shared by his best friends Myron Wagtail and Donaghan Tremlett. So when the three of them came together, the band was formed, and they called themselves The Weird Sisters. It was a slow start for the small band. Most of the time was spent writing music and lyrics, while they worked odd jobs to make ends meet. Eventually the three knew that if they were going to be successful, they needed more band members. Eventually the three held open auditions in Hogsmeade, looking for wizards their own age. The result was plenty of musical misfits, and eventually the band of three became eight. It was a change the Weird Sisters needed. In 1994 when the Weird Sisters spiked in popularity when their songs "Do the Hippogriff", "This is the Night" and their romantic ballad "Magic Works" became big hits on the Wizarding Wireless Network. They were signed with a big record label and started their first major tour, but still performed at smaller gigs, like the Hogwart's Yule Ball. Things were good. They had money, fame, and fans just for writing and performing the music they loved.
