Disguised as a Catholic Boarding School, Charles Knox resides in a remote, undocumented area of Wyoming, surrounded by a small community mysteriously only available to alumni. It's seems Charles Darwin was never too far from logic in his theories of evolution, mutations in the human gene being detected in an increasing number of candidates supporting the development of supernatural ability. Though the numbers of detection and seekings to present date have been sparse in comparison to world population, given the secrecy of the subject due to potential human threat, it is unknown how far back the first cases of mutation ever occurred. Persons with the mutated genotype displaying signs of superhuman ability are detected and sought after by Professor Knox himself, whilst being founder of the school ninety years ago appears to have barely aged a day beyond twenty. Whilst Charles Knox Academy offers a superb curriculum, extra-curricular activities, an influence with some of the top ivy league colleges, and what most would find adequately comfortable student housing, attendance is non-negotiable. post comment

You get up, you brush your teeth, you go to work. Or maybe you're still in bed, sleeping off that hangover from the party you went to last night. Then you start hearing a voice inside your head that's not yours. Are you going crazy? No. Are you imagining things? No. Is there actually a fictional person living inside your head? Yes. Reincarnation has been a world-wide phenomenon for centuries. Fictional entities taking up residence in the minds of unsuspecting people, sharing memories, histories, talents, hardships. It began in secret, but as the number of reincarnates steadily grew the reincarnate world became a community that was increasingly hard to remain unnoticed by the rest of the world or to exist together peacefully. Congratulations, you've just become a reincarnate. Welcome to the war. It's the year 2011, but the Reincarnate War has been waged for centuries. The two warring sides, most recently going by the names Camelot and CORE, have been locked in a never ending fight over ideals, and the reincarnate community's neutral agent known as the Agency has been trying in vain to keep the peace. Many battles have been fought, with heavy casualties on both sides. Governments overthrown, fighting in the streets and countless loved ones lost. On April 2nd they thought the war was over. In a battle that lasted the night, Camelot took down CORE in a single swoop, those that survived were put in prison, and the reincarnate community began to rebuild. The worst was over. Or so they thought. The reincarnate community is in shambles, torn apart by centuries of warfare. The magic that brings reincarnates into the world has shifted with the supposed end of the reincarnate war. It would seem that it's no longer set on bringing about destruction, instead it's reshaping reality as you know it. [29 Oct 2011|04:47pm] TWISTING THE FUTURE With the second wizarding war finally over, families have returned to their normal jobs and normal lives. The students of Hogwarts have gone back to worrying about homework, boy troubles and the quickly changing fashion trends. As the technology in the Muggle world continues to progress, the wizarding world has started its own research. By 2022 the experiments in the Department of Mysteries mixing technology and magic have started causing adverse affects on the world around them. No one quite knows what they're doing in there, but if the students of Hogwarts want to flourish and finish their classes, they'll have to find a way to embrace or ignore the effects the expriments have on the magic they're supposed to be learning to use. The threat of the Dark wizard known as Lord Voldemort had disappeared, and in the years following the triumph, governments arose that were much more focused on cooperation and tolerance among wizards and witches at home and internationally. In 2019, a contingent of people led by Second Wizarding War hero Harry Potter and Bulgarian Quidditch superstar Viktor Krum formed, eager to encourage the next generation to focus on others' similarities rather than their differences. Both leaders spoke eloquently of the lasting friendships they had made and the valuable lessons they had learned during the 1994 Triwizard Tournament. They advocated a replacement event for the student population. With the assistance of the International Association of Quidditch, three years later, the inaugural Junior International Quidditch Tournament is set to begin. Four Quidditch teams representing their schools will compete against each other in a series of matches throughout the academic year, with two finals at the end of the year to determine the overall winner. And alongside all the Quidditch fever that is sure to grip the castle, the typical difficulties of an academic year at Hogwarts must still be traversed: exams, friendships, romance, and antics.
