 It's the new school year at Piffled and the students have a lot more to worry about than just a bunch of mandatory art electives. A student-run campaign, strengthened by the support of prefects, has changed the Hogwarts curriculum forever. Now a mandatory sexual education course is in place for all students 16 and older. Sex was previously a banned subject at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry under the assumption that "parents took care of that sort of thing" and the students were "too young to be having it anyway". That's old school now. This school year will go down in Hogwarts history as the year that the school expanded itself as being not only a magical institution with the artistic backbone established by the Ministry since 1998, but also as a place that truly prepares young adults for adulthood in the best way they know how. If you thought having The Talk with your mum was awkward, try having it with the Headmaster. ***Piffled has been open since June 2010 and is still running. Focusing on students from 5th to 7th year and recent Hogwarts graduates, it is about to enter the the 2023-2024 school year. An event oriented game, students are encouraged to participate in as many clubs, school activities, and events as possible. As a reminder, all students are required to take one fine art elective "club" to keep up with Ministry requirements as well as the mandatory weekly sexual education course. PLACE A HOLD TODAY!

The year is 1963.
It is a time in history like no other. There are those who feel that they are standing on the dawn of a golden age while others feel that the threat of nuclear war will tear the nation apart. The fire of the Civil Rights Movement is beginning to blaze with men and women standing up against oppression at home, as costumed superheroes and criminals begin to make their presence known.
Against this backdrop of conflict and change, a man named Charles Xavier is searching for others of his kind.
Xavier sees the turmoil ahead. He believes that a war against mutants may soon be coming--he sees it in the reaction of Americans to the threat of the bomb and the fear of mutation. His friend, Erik Lehnsherr, argues that violence should be met with violence, that mutants should strike first and enslave those who would harm them. But Xavier is not a man quick to anger and instead, he is preparing a sanctuary for those who would band together for protection. It is not children that he seeks but men and women--in case the battle is brought to their front door.
As movements march on and wars erupt, Xavier’s dream turns from fantasy to necessity. Where will it lead mutantkind?

Marvel: Art of War is an alternate universe game set in New York state during 1963 where the Xavier Institute is an establishment set up on paper as a thinktank. In actuality, its members work covertly to fight for justice, both personal and political.
Art of War is looking for canon and original characters no younger than 18 years old. Because of the AU nature of the game, the mods and players look forward to creativity in applications as players re-imagine Marvel characters to fit that setting. |

➠ WELCOME TO THE CITY OF COLLIGO Deep within the Canopus System lies the planet, Soter, a world strangely similar to Earth that was created long ago by an eccentric deity known as Asaph, later known throughout the multiverse as simply The Collector. In the early days of the planet, he created his own beings to populate his world, beings without free will who existed solely to do as he wished. Though other deities had warned him that filling his world with people who lacked free will would prove tiresome and that he would ultimately regret the choice, he was a stubborn entity who did not care to listen to their wisdom.
Of course, in time, he came to see that others were right and he had made an error in judgment.
But rather than starting afresh, creating new people to replace the old, Asaph instead chose to collect people from other worlds, stealing them away to fill his own. Over the centuries, there were many cities on the planet, many collections of individuals that existed and fell. Colligo is his latest attempt at a city, filled with the stolen denizens of other worlds. These unfortunate people, after having been grabbed from their respective planets, times, and realities, awaken within Colligo's grand library, unaware of where they are or how they got there. Most of the books in this library are blank, no words or titles or pictures, but some have names and stories, names of captives trapped by the Collector. They are soon ushered out of the building and into the city by guards dressed in medieval armor that step off podiums, breaking the illusion that they are merely statues. No matter what abilities the new collection possesses, fighting these guards is impossible - as is leaving the planet. One can leave the city for a brief time, but they must return. Nobody can leave permanently. If one tries, they find themselves back in the library and being pushed out into the city once more by the guards.
You, unfortunately, have caught The Collector's eye and have been added to his collection. Where you are is unknown, how to return to your own world is an even bigger mystery, but you're faced with two choices: learn to live in this city or die trying to escape it.

Severus is about to be a father, he's been with the same woman for four years, who's waiting for him to finally put a ring on it, he has literally killed to keep his family safe, and the entire Order owes him their life and they know it. Lily wants her best friend back. Marlene wants her soul-mate back. And James and Sirius need him around so they can be frenemies.

| This game is taking the DC Universe and offering it to the player. The Justice League of America follow in the footsteps of the JSA. The Teen Titans, composed of several sidekicks of the JLA, is formed. Many foes native to earth pose a threat to the peace and order of many parts of the world in a world of uncertainty heroes rise to the challenge to meet them head on. How they are played and how we get there is up to us, the players. We give you full creative license. It is all up to us, as the players. Our most Wanted: Amanda Waller, Maxwell Lord, lex Luthor and other characters are more than welcome as well Booster Gold and blue Beetle (ted Kord), hal jordan, kyle rayner, Donna Troy, Tim Drake J'honn J'ones and we can't leave out the JSA Doctor Mid-Nite (Pieter Cross), Flash (Jason Garrick) Green Lantern (Alan Scott). Any others are more than welcome. Looking forward to hearing back. |
