 Voldemort was dead and life went on. Students who had spent the last year fighting for their lives suddenly found themselves in a world with limitless possibility, capable of finding new direction and new purpose. There were job interviews to go on and bills to pay. Funerals and first dates. Second dates. Weddings. Children. Twenty-eight years later, a new generation of students will be boarding the Hogwarts Express- the children of war heroes and villains alike. With the Second War safely behind them in their History of Magic textbooks, these students find themselves blessed with the opportunity to live normal lives as normal teenagers, focused on Hogsmeade weekends, school events and N.E.W.T. exams and faced with the choice to either put the past behind them or settle for living in the shadow of their parents. Adolescence is challenging enough, a time of increasing independence and creative exploration. LXH ( League of Extraordinary Heroes) is a pulp-based, multi-genre RPG. Set in modern times, in fictional Avalon City, it features good, bad, and that hazy grey area in dealing with superheroes, supervillains, mystics, demons, enhanced humans, vampires, assassins, werewolves, mutants, and everything in between. If you can think it up, it probably lives here in Avalon. We're looking for recruits with an eye for the unusual, and a rich style of character creation. Turmoil will constantly be on the horizon, as the mods aim to throw a wrench into the works every now again, for good guys and bad guys alike. Evil NPC elements will pop up from time to time, as well as squeaky clean heroes. Keep an eye out for advertisements in the Avalon Herald for wanted "guns for hire", or seek out the leaders of various factions within the city yourself. Feel free to start a personality from scratch, or take an existing character from your favourite canon and re-work them into an original character. In this game, as with Avalon City itself, anything goes...

The year is 1191. The place, England. Viewing the English lands as damp and worthless, especially compared to his French holdings, King Richard I has journeyed to the Holy Land, focused on the glory of war. His island kingdom has been left in the grasping hands of his youngest brother, Prince John, and grumblings of discontent are spreading throughout the kingdom.
In the shire of Nottingham, a young lord has returned from the Holy Land to find much changed. Though his childhood sweetheart did not marry during his absence, she is now the ward of a sadistic new Sheriff, one not as concerned with the people's welfare as his predecessor. The world is a worse one than he left behind.
The characters are based on those from the BBC Robin Hood series, though histories will be changed to reflect this alternate universe. How will your character's background, attitude, feelings, actions change if Robin did not leave his life of status and wealth behind. Would people flock to a mysterious new hero as they had to the Night Watchman? And how long can he keep his true actions hidden.
