Doing this with the last of her power, she offered a solution to her minions: Find those who escaped Silent Hill. Bring them back for sacrifice and she will come to this world again at her full power. The Sinners must be found and pay the price. Sadly, those who left would not be enough, she would need many more. Silent Hill: Lost in Nightmares is about characters that worked for the Order searching out those who left Silent Hill by dragging them back and making others come into the town to be sacrificed. From the Daily Prophet; 2025-08-22 A Day of Victory For He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named Last night was marked by a glorious event, greatly anticipated by all obedient citizens of the Wizarding World. Led by His Infinite Wisdom, two of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's loyal followers finally completed the crucial task necessary to crush the opposition and carry out the ultimate justice. Leader of the resistance and traitor to the Wizarding World, Harry Potter was killed during capture by Chief of Wizengamot Bellatrix Lestrange and Lilith Lestrange, wife of Mr. Rabastan Lestrange. The body of Mr. Potter will be available for public viewing in the atrium of the Ministry as proof of justice's supreme victory. Premise Harry Potter is dead - killed by Bellatrix Lestrange and his own daughter, now married to Rabastan Lestrange. The war, however, despite Voldemort's propaganda, is far from over. Hidden within the safety of Hogwarts, the Order of the Phoenix keeps resisting Voldemort and his Death Eaters. It's the third war, started by a spell no one understands... In the Summer of 2024, a pack of werewolves started terrorising the country, turning young children and brutally killing their parents. A month later the dead started returning to life. Voldemort was among the first to arrive. By spring 2025, Voldemort and the werewolves had joined forces; Hogwarts, Azkaban and Diagon Alley had been attacked, but Ministry and Order were still standing strong, forcing Voldemort to live in hiding. On June 18, 2025, everything changed! Voldemort launched an attack on the wizarding world, hitting King's Cross, the Hogwarts Express and the Ministry. While the forces of good spread out to protect the population, Voldemort took over the Ministry – and with it the Wizarding society. The Order and their allies fled to Hogwarts, where Headmaster Severus Snape shielded the school, making it impossible for Voldemort to gain entrance. From there, the Order launched its resistance. For the rest of the population, it’s comply or be killed, but under the surface, people are trying to find a way to manoeuvre outside the new laws and restrictions. In the meantime an unknown, yet undetected, spell is spreading amongst the Wizarding population, Death Eaters, Order and neutral alike. In Musings, people live the way we do, eat the same food we do, love the same way we do, and work the same minimum wage jobs we do. The differences? They all have their roots in fictional characters, and they are immortal. Though they are not the characters themselves, they carry in them the essences of characters from fiction. The sources that they spring from do not exist for them, but they are based on fiction we are familiar with all the same - though no one has ever read a Batman comic, there is a rich young man who uses his money to fight the forces of evil that destroyed his life. Though Moby Dick was never written, a sailor still stalks the bars of a town on the sea, watching, waiting. Now, a portal has opened between the world of Musings and the mortal world, and the Creations (as they call themselves) have begun crossing over in droves. Now, they have abilities that they did not have in their own world, abilities that they can choose to do with what they will. There is no great prescribed fate for these echoes of fiction, only the destinies they choose to weave for themselves - living and losing on the shores of a new world. [09 Oct 2010|11:53pm] The McKinley High glee club thought they'd have it all: they'd win at Regionals, people would respect them, and they would finally be popular. However, Regionals didn't go as well as the glee club expected. Actually, it went about as badly as possible. And returning to school after summer vacation, they found they were still at the bottom of the social food-chain. But there's always hope. After all, it's a new school year. And a new school year means new chances, new friends, new enemies...you get the idea. new_directions is a RPG based on the show Glee, mixing AU with canon. We've been around for a year now, and we're not planning on leaving any time soon. Due to recent events, we've had several canon characters opened up for application. And if canon isn't your thing, we accept original characters as well. We have relative easy posting requirements and lots of stuff planned to keep everyone active. Holds are for 48 hours, though extensions can be given. We accept or reject applications as soon as the mod team is able to review, usually within 24 hours.
